The managing director of Graebener® Maschinentechnik was elected to the scientific advisory board of the ZBT in May. This decision to delegate him to the advisory board as a representative of the ZBT sponsoring association is in accordance with the statutes of the general meeting. The delegation is for an indefinite period of time and can be redefined at the annual general meeting. The current mission of Fabian Kapp is thus dated for at least one year.
The innovation driver of the Graebener® Bipolar Plate Technologies is well placed in his additional role at the ZBT due to his excellent national and international networking in the field of manufacturing technology for fuel cells and electrolyzers.
"Through my election to the advisory board, I am certain that I will be able to contribute decisively to the shaping of the solidarity between science and industry in a future-oriented way, not only at project level, but also in direct exchange with those responsible at the ZBT," says Fabian Kapp confidently and explains: "Particularly with a view to electrolysis being further expanded at the ZBT and playing an important role for the world of tomorrow, I am looking forward to the joint path - also in order to give important impetus to the VDMA (Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau e.V.), of which I am a board member within the Fuel Cells Working Group."
In addition to the interdisciplinary networking of companies, research institutes and experts, the other tasks of a scientific advisory board member in the ZBT include advising the supervisory board. Thus, the managing director of Graebener® Maschinentechnik contributes to the content-related orientation of the ZBT - with the aim of ensuring an exchange of information as well as identifying technological trends and innovation potentials in the fuel cell industry at an early stage.
